General FAQs
Where is the shopping center located?
The Bloc is located at 700 W. 7th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90017, in Downtown Los Angeles.
Cross Streets:
The main entrance is on 7th Street between Hope Street and Flower Street.
Nearest Public Transportation:
The closest station is 7th Street/Metro Center station.
A Metro entrance/exit is located on the Plaza Level behind Starbucks at The Bloc.
Metro Entrance Hours:
- Monday–Saturday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed
What are the shopping center's hours?
The Bloc is open during the following hours:
- Monday – Saturday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Sunday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Is parking free?
No. Parking at The Bloc is not free, but discounted validation rates are available for customers.
Self Parking (With Validation)
- 1st hour: $1.00
- 2nd hour: $3.00
- 3rd hour: $4.00
- After 3 hours: Standard daily parking rates apply
Valet Parking (With Validation)
- $8 for up to 2 hours
- After 2 hours, standard valet rates apply
Self-Parking (Without Validation)
- $4.00 per 10 minutes
- Daily maximum: $44.00
- Early Bird Special: $13.00 (enter between 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM, Monday–Friday)
Valet Parking (Without Validation)
- $5.00 per 10 minutes
- Daily maximum: $49.00
Payment & Validation
- Pay stations are located in the Plaza Level elevator lobby and central elevator lobbies on Levels 4–5.
- Please pay before returning to your vehicle.
Customers visiting JOEY DTLA, UNIQLO, HATCH Yakitori + Bar, or Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Downtown Los Angeles can receive parking validation directly in-store.
For all other retailers, bring your parking ticket and retail receipt to the valet desk to receive validation.
Lost tickets are charged the daily maximum rate. Payment can be made at pay stations or at the exit using a credit card.

Is the shopping center pet-friendly?
Yes. The Bloc is pet-friendly, and well-behaved pets on a leash are welcome in the center’s outdoor areas.
Several restaurants at The Bloc welcome dogs in their outdoor seating areas, including:

Guests visiting with pets should keep dogs leashed at all times and follow individual restaurant policies, which may vary.
Is there WiFi available?
Yes. The Bloc offers complimentary WiFi for guests, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the property.

Yes. Several restaurants at The Bloc offer happy hour specials:
- District DTLA – Daily, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- HATCH Yakitori + Bar – Tuesday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM & Friday–Saturday, 9:30 PM – Close
- JOEY DTLA – Daily, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Services & Amenities FAQs
Is there ATM access?
Yes. The Bloc has an ATM available on the Plaza Level, located behind Starbucks for guest convenience.
Are there public restrooms?
Yes. Public restrooms are also available on the Plaza Level and are open daily from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
Is the shopping center wheelchair accessible?
Yes. The Bloc is fully wheelchair accessible and designed to be user-friendly for all patrons.
Accessibility Features
- Handicapped parking is available on all 9 levels of The Bloc parking structure.
- Enter off Flower Street just before 8th Street and follow signs to self-park.
- Look for illuminated blue disabled parking symbols near the elevators on each floor.
- ADA-compliant access ramps, elevators, and directional signage are provided throughout the property.

Are wheelchairs or strollers available?
No. The Bloc does not provide wheelchairs or strollers. Guests are advised to bring their own personal mobility or child transport items.
Is there EV charging?
Yes. The Bloc offers EV charging stations on the Valet Level as well as Levels 5 and 7 for self-parking.
- Charging is available via ChargePoint, which requires an individual account.
- Rates: $2/hour for the first 3 hours; $20/hour thereafter.
Is there security on-site?
Yes. The Bloc provides 24/7 security, 365 days a year, to ensure the safety of all visitors.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes. Each retailer at The Bloc offers its own individual gift cards.
